Top Ten Worst And Favorite Christmas Movies December 28, 2008

I watched a LOT of christmas movies during break. I have a lot of favorites and a lot I hate.

Here’s a list of Worst Christmas Movies that I got from a website called statehornet.com that I somewhat agree with:

1. Fred Claus- This had a great cast to work with but it was too nice to be funny. It should have gone the Bad Santa route if the director wanted to get some real laughs.

2. Jingle All The Way- Arnold Schwarzenegger playing the concerned father who would beg, borrow, or steal for a toy for his son. I would believe it if he was on the hunt for a Cuban cigar.

3. The Santa Clause 3- Sequels are cute, but enough is enough. I can’t stop thinking of Mrs. Claus as Juliet from Lost.

4. Jack Frost- So my loser dad is dead, but now he is a snowman and we are best friends. Hoorah!

5. Surviving Christmas- Ben Affleck without a gun or a Boston accent is never a good idea. Stick to what you know Ben.

6. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) – This was great when it was animated. Jim Carey did a good job of making it creepy and inappropriate for children.

7. Santa With Muscles- Hulk Hogan plays a bodybuilder who gets hit in the head and wakes up thinking he is Santa Claus. Wow, how stupid do movie studios think we are?

8. A Very Brady Christmas- This would have been great if it would have been released in 1978 rather than 1988.

9. To Grandmother’s House We Go- The Olsen twins grace us with their fine acting skills. The girls get kidnapped on their way to Grandma’s. . . Wait, this might actually be worth watching.

10. Christmas With the Kranks- With an island vacation on their minds, two empty nesters have to scramble to make Christmas happen when their college student daughter decides to come home at the last minute. Tim Allen should not be allowed to make any more Christmas movies.

 

Here’s a list that I made of my Favorite Christmas Movies:

1. Elf – awesome hilarious movie! I mean could Will Ferrell get and funnier?! and if you buy the DVD it comes with games which are SO much fun to play!

2. The Santa Clause – another Christmas favorite starring Tim Allen! It was funny and creative! They made Santa Clause 2 and Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. I liked the first one the best because it was original but then they started making sequels and all the magic disappeared.

3. The Christmas Story – I love the old movies! Paranoid parents don’t want Ralphie to get a Red Ryder BB gun, but that’s all he wants. He’s gotta convince them it’ll be ok. Ralphie’s dad wins a contest and gets a lamp that looks like a leg. He outs it in the front window where everyone can see it. The wife doesn’t like it. But mom and dad like it less when Ralphie says f*ck, and it’s funny as hell when Ralphie’s friend stickes his tongue to a frozen flag pole.

4. Home Alone – A HILARIOUS movie where the parents leave their kid home with 2 robbers. If you haven’t watched this movie then GO AND WATCH IT because you’ll be in for some laughs.

5. The Muppets Christmas Carol - I like the movie the Christmas Carol but the movie is only good when it’s the muppets version. Same story but I like it better when it’s the muppets version

6. Bad Santa – What better way to rob a department store than to dress up as Santa? That’s Billy Bob Thornton’s plan, complete with boozing it up, cursing like Bob Saget, and beating up little kids.

7. Gremlins – It’s a pretty good Christmas movie. But don’t watch the movie if you want to get into the christmas spirit. Because the thing is, this is a horror scary kinda movie. Well it felt like it to me. So if you don’t want to have nightmares for a few nights then don’t watch it. Otherwise I would strongly recommend it.

8. Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas - I love this movie!!!!!!!!!!! it was the first christmas movie that I ever watched in my life! An all time favorite but somehow ended up to be number 8 on my list

9. A Charlie Brown Christmas – Christmas just wouldn’t be right without Charlie Brown and the gang. Also, the Snoopy dance – need I say more?

10. The Polar Express – A pretty good movie about on Christmas Eve, a doubting boy boards a magical train that’s headed to the North Pole and Santa Claus’s home. I saw somewhere that it said it got 3 Oscars.

Ice Skating On The Sidewalk In My Pj’s December 24, 2008

Today when I woke up the sidewalk was frozen over and the ice was really strong. So my sister had a really funny idea to go ice skating on the sidewalk. So we did and it was a lot of fun. And since it was still morning I was still in my pj’s and didn’t feel like changing. So my sister got a picture but I didn’t get one of her that’s to bad. I also had a video of her falling down but it won’t upload oh well. That wasn’t real ice skating but it was A LOT of fun! I’m going to do some real ice skating with my friend Kelly on Saturday. Anyway, Merry Christmas!

I know this is early but MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

I celebrate Christmas and I’m sorry to those who don’t because I know nothing about Hanakah or Kwanza which I’m pretty sure that I spelled wrong but I don’t feel like checking that right now.

I hope you’ve all been good this year because I heard that Santa Claus is coming to town. You can still write to him it’s not too late!!!!!

If you don’t feel like writing him a letter then talk to him over aim. His screen name is SantaClaus. Yea I know SO original.

 

  

I’m going nowhere for Christmas break yay me!!!!

I was supposed to go skiing in Vermont but my mom doesn’t want to break her leg again.

So I’m staying home and then going ice skating with Kelly at ice line on Saturday at 2 ‘o’ clock!!!!!!

I think that I’m gonna catch up on some sleep too.

My 2 New Pages December 24, 2008

I have two new pages on my site.

One is MARS Camp.

That stands for Math and Related Sciences Camp.

It’s more fun than it sounds. So that page has a lot of different pictures from the awesome 2 week sleepover camp!

The other page is Vacation.

Kevjumba December 20, 2008

Ok I talk a lot about nigahiga, I think that it’s kevjumba’s turn.

Kevjumba is an asian comedian with some hilarious videos but they are mostly rants on things he hates and stuff, not like nigahiga’s where they have to act in the videos. Kevjumba usually does a lot of talking in his video. I don’t know why but his videos are SO funny!

He has a rant about how Japan is the most preverted country in the world.

He talks about racism.

He talks about a lot of things and somehow he became an celebrity on Youtube!

Demi DOESN’T Cut Herself!!! December 20, 2008

I saw this picture on Demi and there are these thin red cuts on her wrists.

It kinda looks like she cuts herself.

But that isn’t true.

Demi was wearing gummy bracelets just prior to her appearance on the red carpet and, because of how tight they were. So they left these marks on her wrist.

So Demi does not cut herself and that is clear!

Paris Hilton Missing 2 Million Dollars December 19, 2008

I heard that Paris Hilton was robbed 2 million dollars worth of jewelry and some other stuff.

The police said that someone with a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced their way through Paris Hilton’s Sherman Oaks Hollywood Hills home on Friday morning (I don’t know which Friday)

She is really rich!!! I would love to have her money! She is like filthy rich!!! But I’m not that mean…even if it is Paris Hilton, I wouldn’t do it considering the amount of security she has. Thay person must have been smart because if I were doing that I couldn’t last a day without the police coming into my house and figuring it out that it was me.

That person must have been hella smart.

There was a dance at my school last night!

It was so much fun!

But the first one was better…..

because I kept following one of my friends as she stalked this one guy and I had to follow her because she had my phone in her pocket

but I found it amuzing…ha ha

They played all of my favorite songs except for Just Dance by Lady Gaga…I think…

It was so much fun!!!!!

People from my school who are looking at this and didn’t go this time you guys NEED to go next time!!!!
